KUSA — Firefighters were able to quickly put out a pile of flaming garbage that a trash truck left on a Capitol Hill street Monday morning.
According to the Denver Police Department, the trash truck dumped the garbage on 12th Avenue near Clarkson Street at around 9 a.m.
It had to drop the trash because of a compartment fire.
There are no reports of damage due to the fire, police said, and no one was injured.
Two 9NEWS photojournalists happened to be in the area. One of them spotted cans, cardboard and paper in the road.
