THORNTON, Colo. — Four people are dead after a crash and vehicle fire in Thornton Saturday night.
The Thornton Police Department said two vehicles collided at the intersection of Thornton Parkway and Washington Street at around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
One of the vehicles caught fire, police said, killing four people. The other driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police are investigating how the crash happened. The intersection is expected to be closed for an extended period of time.
