DOUGLAS COUNTY — Roxborough State Park remains closed for a second day as multiple agencies search for a possible suicidal person in the park.
The popular state park south of Denver closed Monday morning due to the search, according to a tweet from Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
60 searchers, six canines, two unnamed aerial vehicles, and a helicopter searched late into the night before suspending the search until Tuesday morning.
Right now, there’s no estimated time for when the park will reopen to the public.
Roxborough State Park is famous for its red rock formations and has trails varying from a half-mile long to more than 6 miles.
