KUSA - Investigators are working to identify a body found in a city-owned reservoir in Thornton Monday afternoon.
The reservoir is just west of Interstate 76 and East 88th Avenue, according to Thornton Police Department spokesperson Matt Barnes.
Barnes says employees with a mowing company first spotted the body, which appeared to have been there for a while.
The name and gender of the person who died have not been released. Barnes said investigators are working to determine if foul play was involved.
