A man burned his feet in a house fire that damaged several areas of the home early Saturday morning in Fort Collins, fire officials say.

Poudre Fire Authority says crews were sent to a ranch-style home in the 2400 block of Mathews St. at 6:10 a.m. Fifteen minutes later, the blaze was under control.

That wasn't before damage was done to the garage, laundry room and bedroom. The two adults and child in the home were already outside when firefighters arrived.
