GREELEY — A Greeley infant was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being attacked by a family pet.
According to police, the incident was reported just after 1 p.m. Saturday from a house in the 2500 block of 10th Ave Ct. A spokesperson says the girl, whose age has not been released, was attacked by a Siberian husky.
The infant was taken to North Colorado Medical Center, then to Children's Hospital, where she remains in critical condition Sunday evening. The dog was taken to a shelter.
Police say the child was not unattended at the time. They're still investigating to determine exactly what happened.
