Police in Loveland say a person who was target shooting near the Simpson Ponds State Wildlife Area Saturday afternoon fired errant rounds that ended up hitting at least two nearby houses.

Shortly before 1 p.m., officers were called to the 400 block of Wrybill Court after a caller reported that residences had been struck by bullets.

Arriving officers determined that at least one person was target shooting in the area.

No one was injured.
