BROOMFIELD - Firefighters with North Metro Fire Rescue battled a fire at a home near West 119th Place and Colmans Way the department said in a Tweet.
Flames and smoke were coming from the home when crews arrived, a spokesperson for the agency told 9NEWS.
Two adults and three children were home when the fire started in the backyard and evacuated safely according to a Tweet from the North Metro Fire Rescue. The home was heavily damaged, but neighboring homes were not damaged.
