Crews respond to early morning fire in Commerce City

The fire happened in the 7500 block of Dahlia Street early Thursday morning.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Crews with South Adams Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 7500 block of Dahlia Street early Thursday morning. That's near Dahlia Street and East 74th Avenue in Commerce City.

The department first tweeted at around 6:43 a.m. for a report of a fire at a commercial structure. Crews were able to get water on the fire quickly, according to South Adams Fire.

Just before 10 a.m., South Adams Fire tweeted an update saying no injuries had been reported.

The fire had caused the closure of Dahlia Street between 74th and 78th Avenues, according to South Adams Fire.
