At least 2 cars damaged in fire on Englewood dealership lot

Denver Fire responded at about 3 a.m. on Thursday morning to a report of a vehicle fire at a dealership on South Broadway.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo — At least two cars were damaged in a fire that happened early Thursday morning at a car dealership in Englewood.

At about 3 a.m., Denver Fire Department responded to the call for a vehicle fire at Groove Toyota on South Broadway. Firefighters quickly put out the fire and no injuries were reported, according to Denver Fire.

An employee at Groove Toyota told us that two brand new vehicles had burned in the fire.

SKY9 was over the scene Thursday morning and saw what appeared to be two SUVs with fire damage in the parking lot.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
