Fire investigators in Aurora are working to determine what caused an under construction Burger King to catch fire Thursday morning.
Firefighters were called to 12119 East Mississippi Avenue – near the intersection of Mississippi Avenue and Peoria Street – at about 9:45 a.m.
Tony Krenz with Aurora Fire says 29 firefighters were sent to the scene and were able to get the fire under control by 11 a.m.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
