A brush fire that briefly threatened homes in Douglas County Saturday afternoon was brought under control minutes are being reported.
The fire began in the 9200 block of E. Pioneer Drive in Parker and is threatening homes along Hilltop Road at Crestview Drive, South Metro Fire said in a tweet.
South Metro first reported the vegetation fire at 1:19 p.m. Saturday and said it was under control less than 20 minutes later.
At this time there's no word on the size of the fire.
