LOVELAND, Colo. — A body was found in the water at the Jayhawker Ponds in Loveland Sunday afternoon, according to a release from the Loveland Police Department.
Jacob Hagler, 39, was found just before 4 p.m. in shallow water in the Sandpiper Pond near the intersection of First Street and Taft Avenue, the release said.
Hagler died from asphyxia by drowning, according to the Larimer County Coroner's Office, and his death has been ruled an accident.
He was a resident of Loveland.
