3 deer illegally killed in Weld County

Colorado Parks & Wildlife says three deer were shot and left to waste on Saturday, April 6.

MILLIKEN, Colo. — Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is asking the public for information regarding deer that were illegally killed on April 6 in Weld County.

Three deer were shot and left to waste just north of Milliken around 3 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, according to CPW. The incident occurred at Weld County Road 25 and the Big Thompson River.

A light gray, mid-2000's Dodge 1500 pick-up with a male driver was reported in the area at the time of the incident. CPW says the vehicle was reported to be driving erratically at the time.

CPW says callers do not have to reveal their names or testify in court.
