KUSA — The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office has released a description of a potential suspect after a boy told deputies a man tried to pull him into his vehicle Thursday morning.

The boy told deputies that he was walking in the 7300 block of Harvard Avenue – which is just north of East Yale Avenue – at around 8:10 a.m. when a white Toyota Corolla drove past him, stopped and reversed toward him, according to a news release from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.

That’s when the boy said the driver got out of the car and tried to pull him inside. He was able to get away and fled, the release said.

A canvass of the area proved unsuccessful and deputies said there was no video surveillance of where the attempted abduction happened.

The victim described the suspect as a white man in his 50s who is between 5’10” and 6’ tall. He had a medium build, was bald, had a trimmed beard and was wearing short-sleeved button down shirt, according to the release.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 720-874-8477.
