Police look to identify man who robbed Denver Wells Fargo

The masked man robbed a bank near the Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force

The Denver Police Department and FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a Denver bank robbery.

The robbery occurred on Tues. Feb. 6 at 5:20 p.m. at a Wells Fargo Bank near S. University Blvd. and E. 1st Ave. near the Cherry Creek Shopping Center.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 25 years old and 5' 9" to 6' tall. The suspect wore a white hard hat, white safety mask, white painter suit, bright yellow construction vest and white shoes. He carried a black tool bag.

After approaching a bank teller, the suspect made a verbal demand for money and fled the bank on foot. No one was injured.
