Pair of suspects rob Glendale PetSmart at gunpoint; No arrests

There were two victims inside the store who received non-life-threatening injuries.

Two suspects wearing masks reportedly robbed a PetSmart at gunpoint early Saturday morning and escaped despite the best efforts of three law enforcement agencies and a tactical SWAT team, police say.

Law enforcement was outside the PetSmart in Glendale along Alameda Avenue at Colorado Boulevard for hours investigating the armed robbery there.

No suspect description is available at this time and no one is in custody, police say.

There were two victims inside the store who received non-life-threatening injuries.

The scene outside a Glendale PetSmart has calmed down after SWAT teams set up a perimeter outside the store and since left. A few police remain outside at the time of this writing.

Denver Police and the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office assisted in the investigation.

Two Glendale patrol officers are all that remain after Denver Police and Arapahoe County Sheriff's deputies left the scene.

No roads were closed in the area.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money.
