Man wanted in 2 separate bank robberies

Police distributed photos Wednesday of a man who they say robbed one Denver bank just before Christmas and then another earlier this week.

The first robbery occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 23 at the U.S. Bank at 8401 E. Belleview Ave., according to a Crime Stoppers alert.

The second happened on Monday just before 5:30 p.m. at the First Bank at 6715 S. Corner Star Way in Aurora.

Police say the same man was involved in both robberies.

He is described as white, 50 to 60 years old and around 5’10”. He has a “possible facial blemish,” the bulletin says.
