The former youth pastor accused of having sexual relationships with teen girls he met through his church has bonded out of jail a day after being transferred from a Denver jail to a Douglas County detention center.
Joshua Clemons, 35, is charged in Douglas County with two counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust -- a felony.
In late February, Clemons was taken into custody by the Denver Police Department on a single charge of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust. It was after his arrest that two more identical charges were filed by the Parker Police Department.
Clemons met all of his victims while he worked as a youth pastor at Crossroads Community Church in Parker from 2006 to September 2015, Josh Hans with the Parker Police Department told 9NEWS last month.
The former pastor was reportedly very charismatic and well-liked by churchgoers and church staff, according to an arrest affidavit.
Clemons' preliminary hearing in the case is set for April 19 at 1:30 p.m.
