Denver police investigate shooting, crash

Police say one person was shot and taken to a hospital. He later died.

Denver police are investigating a homicide and a crash that they believe are related.

A police spokesperson says one person was shot in the 3500 block of W Colfax Ave at around 7 p.m. Saturday and taken to a hospital.

Soon after that, a vehicle crashed into a building in the 3600 block of W Colfax.

Police announced Sunday that the shooting victim had died.

No suspect information is available at this time, police said.

Anyone in the area at the time of the shooting is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.
