Army captain gunned down near Colorado Springs intersection, suspects sought

KUSA — The Colorado Springs Police Department is looking for suspects after a 28-year-old Army captain was gunned down at an intersection over the weekend.

According to police, Cpt. Daniel Chamberlain Lehman was killed near South Nevada Avenue and Costilla Street between 1:55 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Saturday. The West Point graduate was stationed at Fort Carson.

His body was found later that morning, police said.
