'Better when baked': Totino's pizza-snack brand rolls out pre-4/20 campaign in Colorado

General Mills Inc. -- maker of Totino's Pizza Rolls -- may be a 90-year-old, multibillion-dollar corporation best known for breakfast cereals, but that doesn't mean it's not above doing a bunch of pot jokes every so often. Like now, for instance.

Minnesota-based General Mills (NYSE: GIS, has launched "regional promotions focused on current events in specific markets," says a spokesman. That means Colorado, where recreational marijuana sales are legal.

The campaign launched ahead of Thursday's 4/20 celebration of pot in Denver and elsewhere.

The company never actually mentions marijuana in its Denver-area billboards and transit ads for Totino's, which taglines like "Before you forget" and #betterwhenbaked.
