BUENA VISTA – Colorado has a new music festival to look forward to this summer.
Vertex is a three-day celebration of live music and festival culture held from August 5-7. The initial lineup released Tuesday features headline performances by ODESZA, Alabama Shakes and the Trey Anastasio Band.
The festival will be held at a site called Cottonwood Meadows, a revived working ranch located about a mile from downtown Buena Vista.
The community-minded event combines music with activities like whitewater rafting, hiking and artful fun.
