Here’s how you can enter the lottery for Hamilton tickets

The digital lottery will open two days prior to each performance with forty orchestra-level tickets available for $10 each.

If you spent hours waiting in that virtual waiting room hoping to score Hamilton tickets only to find out they were sold out, there’s still a chance you could see the show with a lottery ticket system announced Monday.

The #HAM4HAM lottery system will give forty lucky people per performance a chance at orchestra level seats for $10 each.

The first lottery will begin on Sunday, February 25 at 11 a.m. – two days before the premiere at The Buell Theatre. Subsequent lotteries will take place two days prior to each performance through April 1.

Here’s how to enter:

  • Use the Hamlilton app (available on iOS or Android devices) or register at this link: http://hamiltonmusical.com/lottery/
  • Winners and non-winners will be notified at 11 a.m. the day prior to the performance through email and/or phone.
  • There’s a limit of one entry per person, per performance. Repeat entries will be discarded.
  • Tickets must be purchased online with a credit card by 4 p.m. the day before the performance using a purchase link and code sent through email. Tickets not claimed by that time will be forfeited.
  • Lottery tickets can be picked up at will call starting two hours before the performance with a valid ID. DCPA says lottery ticket will be void if resold.
  • You're allowed a maximum of two tickets per lottery entry.
