Buena Vista — Country and bluegrass fans making their summer concert plans have another option to consider after an announcement by country star Dierks Bentley Thursday morning.
Bentley, in partnership with Live Nation, is putting on the Seven Peaks Music Festival this Labor Day Weekend in Buena Vista.
The three-day, camping-friendly festival will be held August 31 through September 2 at a revived ranch surrounded by stunning views of the Collegiate Peaks. It's the same site where the music festival Vertex was held in 2016.
Bentley plans to perform at least once a day at the festival, according to Billboard, and hasn't ruled out the possibility of collaborating with fellow performers.
Other artists include Miranda Lambert, Elle King, Brothers Osborne, Sam Bush and Del McCoury Band. A lineup for the festival’s second stage artists will be announced at a later time.
General Admission passes are $215, and go on sale April 20 at 10 a.m.. VIP packages are also available
Colorado seems like a fitting place for Bentley to put on a festival, as he recently recorded an album called “The Mountain,” which was written and recorded in the state.
